I've met this boy i really like and i talk to him mostly myspace (don't judge he goes to a school near me and i've met him!) and i always say ily (i love you) on my comments to everyone. I said it to this guy he said "did you say you love me??" and i told him about how i meant it out of context (but i really did mean it, i wasn't sure if he was mad at me or not). and he was cool with it then he ended his comment with 'ily, lol.' Does that mean he was having a joke, saying he does love me, help please!!!

Hmm yeah i think he might just be saying it because u said it.. i dont think at the moment he means it in that way, its hard to say without reading ur other comments and what he says to you, but if you keep talking to him i'm sure u will notice that he will be putting ily coz he means it :) i think maybe because u said that u say it to everyone else, he might feel hurt or he might feel that hes not as special. Dont worry some boys are crap at writting ily especially if hes been hurt in the past. But keep hinting that u like him and that u wanna be more than friends and tha the "ily" is for more that just friends. Dont be over the top tho, take ur time :) maybe u could ask him out somewhere like ice skating or go to the cinema or maccy d's or pizza hut...tis cold this time of year tho so maybe just a pizza and dvd. good luck! x

Hard to tell if you told him that u say it to everyone he might just think then that your joking.My guess is just keep talking to him and if there is something there then you'll know it but i wouldn't put to much into this.luck
