first off, he isnt really an "ex," more like elementary school mutual crush. we are in high school now. ten years ago, in like 2nd grade, kissed his arm lol. i even made invites to our "wedding" in like kindergarten. i moved away when i was in maybe 5th grade. i found him on myspace and was so excited. his default picture is him kissing another girl. it actually made me feel really good to know that he had met his love, and i had met mine (my current boyfriend). i try to add him, but he ignores numerous times. when he finally realizes who i am, he messages me "what the ***** what the hell do you want?" It cut me like a knife. what the heck does this mean? why would he write this? I never did anything mean to him. He has NO reason at all to write this. and when i moved away we werent really close or anything. its not like i broke his heart.

what to do?

Its obviously one of these two scenarios:

-Classic example of guys and girls ways of thinking differently... then and now. Chances are he was hurt when you moved away, but he moved on. Guys don't want to 'find out how and old flame is doing'- it opens Pandora's box- and guys don't like to deal with emotions. (his anger means there's something there)

-The current girlfriend checks up on his account. Chicks don't really like old female friends popping up out of nowhere.... EVER- they think he's cheating on them.

ADVICE:

If you have not missed/ felt a loss without him the last five years, why the sudden need to have him in your life? Or have you???

Also keep in mind that if your current guy finds out about this digging you're doing, it will raise his eyebrows.

Something about your brief "relationship" probably scarred him and haunts him to this day. He is bitter since he always compares his current relationships to yours.

delete him from your list of friends and edit profile where only your friends are able to view your page and put a block on him.

if you weren't that close by the time you moved away, then why are you trying so hard to get him on your myspace friend's list?? (you said he ignored you numerous times)... i would say after the first rude message, I think I would have stopped trying.. just forget him and move on......

Maybe his new girlfriend can view his site, and he doesn't want her to get jealous of you. But that's no reason to be rude! Young love is better than old love. Just let him go. It's obvious he's turned into a jerk. Thank God you didn't send out those wedding invitations in Kindergarten.
